the ovoid body and waisted neck painted with a profusion of flowers against a lavender ground, set with gilt scroll handles, raised on a socle foot and square base

Condition

haircrack through lower part of one handle where it joins the body. There is a deep scratch/haircrack which runs horizontally beneath the inner rim, approx. 6in. in length. It doesn't externd through to the outside of the rim.There is a small shallow chip to one of the white flowers on teh upper terminal of one handle. There is some wear to the gilding and minor chips around the square base. Some very minor scratches to the enamels.
