- 230cm. 7ft. 6½in. high
13-inch dial with mask and scroll spandrels, foliate engraved centre with seconds dial and calendar sector, the arch with a moon disc and signed Thomas Radford, Leeds, rack and bell striking movement, the associated case with concaved-sided cresting inlaid with 'Prince of Wales' feathers and flanked by ball and eagle finials, Corinthian-capped fluted hood pillars, broken-arch trunk door flanked by fluted canted corners, crossbanded panelled plinth on ogee bracket feet
Condition
Dial is dirty, lower right corner damaged, rings would benefit from re-silvering, hands have been painted black. Movement is complete but much in need of a clean. Associated case is in generally good restored condition with minor scuffs and a vertical crack to the plinth panel. With pendulum (suspension damaged), 2 weights and case key but no winder.
