Description
- fretted square marks in underglaze-blue
- 30cm.; 11¾in., later wood stands
painted with Kakiemon style panels of birds and flowers within elaborate gilt frames against a blue-scale ground
Condition
One vase with filled in chip (c. 2.5cm.x1cm.), one haircrack to rim of foot and one haircrack along one edge of the hexagonal rim, the cover of the other with a small chip to the inside rim (ca. 5mm) and some wear to the gilding. Otherwise in good condition.
