Description

  • crowned interlaced L's  and date letters FF in gold, painters mark of a flower in gold
  • 13cm.; 5in.
decorated with a band of alternating large and smaller panels enclosing flowers and chinoiserie garden scenes united by floral festoons enclosed by a double band of pearls withing gilt bands, all against a lime green ground

Condition

Ecuelle- overall in good condition. Some minor losses to the black `pearls' and some typical wear to the gilding around the rim. Cover- very small chip to the tip of one petal of the knop. Minor chip to edge of one leaf. Stand- some wear to the gilding in the centre. Some minor losses to the `pearls' and minor wear to the gilding on the handles.
