A George III mahogany library bookcase late 18th century

in two parts, the moulded cornice above a pair of kingwood and boxwood strung astragal doors and a conforming sliding central door, the interior with adjustable shelves, the base with three frieze drawers and a similarly arranged triple panelled door configuration, the interior with a central shelf flanked by ten drawers, on a plinth base

Lovely colour. Generally tidy. Some marks and wear commensurate with use and age. The sides of the lower section with molding partially lacking on the lower frieze and on the front corners of this site. Indications of former handles on drawer fronts. One door is slightly warped.
