Description

  • 84cm. high, 163cm. wide, 120cm. deep; 2ft. 9in., 5ft. 4in. 3ft. 11in.
the top with leather inset and carved border, the frieze with three drawers to the opposing sides, the pedestals each with six graduated drawers in two tiers, the opposing sides with a cupboard enclosing a shelf, on carved ogee bracket feet

Condition

Very good and attractive carving and handles. The drawer arrangements in the pedestals are unusual and practical. The top has a lot of typical indents and marks to the leather commensurate with use and age. A lock plate is lacking from the carcase of one cupboard. The other cupboard is locked and keys are lacking. Some typical partial scuffing to feet and the carved apron moulding with one of the feet having a detached (but present) section.
