10-inch twelve-piece enamel cartouche dial, the five pillar bell striking movement with numbered outside count wheel, later conversion to anchor escapement and steel suspension, signed on the backplate Thiout A Paris, the case surmounted by a winged female figure above foliate mounts and inlay, the door with a mount depicting Europa and the Bull, on term and scroll feet; with a conforming bracket

Dial has chips to VI and IX numerals and some slight rusting to the hands. Movement is complete and looks as though it would run but would benefit from a clean, escapement converted to anchor and with later steel suspension, bell replaced. Case in generally good condition with some old repairs and losses to the inlay, top of cresting re-built and with painted decoration, figure lacking trumpet. Bracket as the case and with some loose pieces of inlay. With replaced pendulum, winder and a case key.
