illustrated example with slight corrosion to charcoal ground and slight wear to knotheads along centreline, pile at sides of field and borders roughly 3mm; ends overcast with trimmed warp fringes; sidecords generally fair; slight colour run from crimson red; second runner very similar but background of border is crimson rather than cherry red, some oxidisation of black ground, wear to knotheads along centreline with good pile of 3mm to sides of field and borders, small nicks in ends, ends backstitched, warps trimmed, lower end with residue of sticky tape on reverse, upper end similar with small amount of tape, 8cm section of sidecord wrapping missing, otherwise in good condition
