Minor losses into plain surround with some original flatweave remaining; sidecords mainly missing wrapping; pile generally in good condition 4-5 mm deep; crimson ground oxidised to foundation in lower right hand corner of field with some associated wear, scattered spot foundation visible in crimson in remainder of lower half of field; needs cleaning and ends and sides overlocking. This condition note was prepared prior to publication of the catalogue, and does not include colour notes on the accuracy of the reproduction.
