25-cm ornate relief brass dial with blue cartouche Roman numerals, shaped blued hands, later plaque below dial reading 1781, movement signed Mynüel A Paris with outer numbered countwheel striking on a bell, converted to anchor escapement, shaped boulle inlaid case with bell top surmounted by a putto, arched cornice with foliate mounts, well inlaid interior and backdoor, arched glazed front door with a cast mount depicting a female deity among scrolls, shaped base raised on scroll feet, together with a matching ogee shaped bracket
