35-cm engraved silvered dial with Roman numerals, fine pierced steel hands, sweep seconds, silvered bezel signed Erfuden von Benedict Henle in München and Polytopische Uhr mit Tageswende, finely enscribed disc with numerous countries, cities and locations of the world revolving against a silvered chapter ring calibrated two times I-XII with divisions for Morgen/Mittag/Abend/Mitter/Nacht as engraved on silvered plaques with foliate ormolu ornament surrounds, a pointer fixed at midnight below flanked by two apertures for day, the disc having three apertures for day at locations near the date line, weight driven movement with tapered plates, deadbeat escapement, high count wheel train with six-spoke wheels, separate suspended pendulum with heavy brass bob and wood rod with regulation to the crutch, rosewood veneered case of rich colour with moulded pediment, glazed door and sides, moulded base raised on a plinth
