A French annular gilt brass and enamel four-glass mantel clock, circa 1900

10-cm gilt dial with Arabic numerals signed for the retailer C. Fortmann La Haye- Amsterdam, shaped hands and green enamel champlevé centre, rack gong striking movement marked A1 and Vincenti with Brocot escapement and mercury pendulum, annular gilt brass four-glass case surmounted by an urn, decorated throughout with green champlevé borders, inset with bevelled glass panels and flanked by pairs of columns, moulded plinth raised on bracket feet
