the slender ovoid form compressed on the front and with short cylindrical neck, painted with simulated wings, the breast with a vacant shield, the reverse inscribed ICH. BIN.EIN.VOGEL.UND.HEISSE.EULE.WER.MICH.HASSET.DER.HABE. DIE.BEULE.1582. above a gilt and enamel dot band, above a hgh foot with everted folded rim, the later cover shaped in the form of a head (28.5cm., 11¼in.) together with a Bohemian enamelled jug dated 1593 the globular form of darkish tint with cylindrical neck, inscribed SI DEUS PRO NOBIS, the neck inscribed 1593 (15.2cm., 7 1/8 in.)
