Description

painted with flower garlands against a blue pointillè ground, interlaced LL monogram in puce enclosing indistinct date letter, 11cm., 4½in.; also a coffee can and saucer, circa 1778, each painted by Etienne Evans with a bird in landscape against a dotted ground painted by Taillandier, interlaced LL monogram, date letters aa, painters marks, coffee can 5.7cm., 2¼in., restoration to saucer

Condition

the milk jug with some black spack to the glaze of the inside, the cup with restored chip to rim of the base(3cm x 0.4cm) and some rubbing to the gilding of the rim; the saucer with wear to gilding of the rim and some dots of the ground, the saucer with restoration to border (8cm x 2.5cm)
