Description
- interlaced LL monograms enclosing date letters D and E and painter's marks, respectively, the saucer with incised hc
- the sugar bowl and cover: 9cm., 3 1/2 in.
each painted by François le Vavasseur with a flower-shaped reserve with a gilt floral border with pendant flower sprigs, gilt dentil rims, the entwined handle with gilt foliate terminals; together with a Sèvres green-ground sugar bowl and cover, circa 1757-58, painted by Jean-Baptiste Tandart with trailing flowers within diagonal reserves alternating with green-ground lobed stripes with gilt scrollwork flanked by seeded borders, gilt dentil rims, the cover surmounted by a flower finial
