12-inch dial with Seasons of the Year spandrels, arcaded minute ring, well engraved centre with seconds and calendar dials, the arch with a silvered boss signed Katterns, Thrapston and flanked by dolphin spandrels, a strike/not strike lever above XII, the rack and bell striking movement with shaped plates, the back plate similarly signed and engraved with flower scrolls and metamorphic birds, the possibly associated case with brass finials above a broken-arch cornice, brass capped hood pilasters, similarly arched trunk door and rebuilt plinth with moulded base
