12-inch dial, mask and leaf spandrels, replaced centre with seconds dial, chime selection lever at III, signed Jno Glascock, Brentwood, on a boss in the arch, later three train bell striking movement chiming on a nest of eight bells, the case with flat top moulded cornice, hood pilasters, broken arch trunk door and reduced plinth, the whole decorated with gilt chinoiseries on a black ground
