7-inch dial with rococo spandrels, matted centre with concentric alarm disc, the engraved arch with a central recessed panel signed Robert Fleetwood, London flanked by subsidiary dials for Strike/Not Strike and Strike ye Hour every Quarter and Not ye Hour every Quarter, substantial three train trip repeating fusee and chain movement with six knopped pillars, verge escapement, pull wind alarm and chiming the quarters on eight bells with a further bell for the hour, the backplate engraved with foliate scrolls around a female mask, the bell top case with brass carrying handle, flambeau finials, female bust and trailing flower mounts on all four angled corners, brass framed apertures on all sides, rococo door frets and bracket feet to the brass-bound plinth
