10-inch painted dial with musical trophy  and flower corners, the arch painted with Chronos flanked by subsidiary strike/silent and chime/silent dials, the massive three train fusee and chain movement  with unusual layout, chiming on a nest of eight bells and striking a chord on a pair of bells, the backplate with engraved border and signed in a cartouche W Preddy, Langport, the case with ogee top and tapered spire finials, brass ring handles and scale side frets, Egyptian revival caryatid corners, foliate brass inlay; together with a later bracket
