A good ormolu 8-day grande sonnerie skeleton clock, Joseph Lechner, Austria/Hungary, early 19th century

7-inch annular enamel dial signed Jos:Lechner in Pest with concentric calendar, three train skeletonised trip-repeating movement with anchor escapement, silk suspension, sun mask pendulum and striking on two gongs,  engraved and gilded plates, finely crossed out wheels, well pierced steelwork, engraved barrel caps and similarly signed on the backplate, a strike/silent lever between 1 and 2, the whole raised on a platform supported by two pillars with ball finials rising from an oval base with a lyre shaped support at the rear, richly gilded milled decoration overall; with a later glass dome and ebonised base
