6½-inch dial with cherub spandrels, signed C.Goode, London followed by a symbol, the formerly matted centre with engraved calendar aperture and later mock pendulum aperture, subsidiary quadrant dials on the upper corners for strike/silent and regulation, the two train bell striking fusee movement with six ringed and knopped pillars and pivoted verge escapement, the backplate well engraved with leaf scrolls and strapwork around a similar signature and symbol, the domed case with double `S' scroll handle, cone finials and paw feet, door fret filled; formerly with repeating work, rise and fall regulation removed
