Description

  • 33cm. 13in. high
5½-inch chapter ring with star-burst half-hour marks, the dial centre engraved with scrolling leaves, rose blooms and, at the top, a face in a heart shaped reserve below some fruit, replaced shaped iron hour hand, the two train posted movement with early conversion to anchor escapement, ratchets on both great wheels, decorated hammer stop and outside countwheel, the frame with slender turned corner columns, well-turned baluster finials, the pierced scroll frets engraved with faces to the front and the sides, top mounted bell with similar finial; alarm removed, feet reduced
