  • ink and colour on paper, handscroll
Signed Li Liufang, dated jia zi, 1624, summer, inscribed, with one seal of the artist, and three collectors' seals. Annotations by the artist's contemporaries Zhao Huanguang (1559-1625), Wen Conglong (late 16th-17th), later by noted painters Zhang Daqian (1899-1983) and Li Yanshan (1898-1961), and with one to two seals of each

Previously in the collection of Zhang Daqian's Dafengtang

Condition

- In good condition. - Close examination reveals some minor restoration of paper loss, and some light foxing and stain spots, as can also be seen in the illustration. - Paper colour of the annotations are actually much whiter than the illustration. - Nicely presented in old mountings, which at least can be dated back to the 1930s.
