Description

the old sage finely modelled seated in dhyanasana upon the back of a recumbent lion dog, with his hands held together in dhyana mudra, the facial features rendered with eyes downcast and a long pointed beard, the plaited hair falling down over each shoulder, wearing a long loose-fitting robe with lotus border, open at the chest to reveal a beaded necklace, the lion with a saddle cloth draped over its body, the face with large eyes and bushy brows, the mane and tail picked out in red pigment
