Description

each of elongated fan shape, intricately carved in high-relief to the concave side with a vivid mountainous landscape scene, one depicting seven figures on horseback returning from a successful hunting expedition, their attendants carrying poles tied with caught game, the other with women shown punting along a river, gaily harvesting lotus blossoms from within boats, the reverse plainly carved with a rectangular cartouche in low-relief, the ivory with warm creamy-white patina (2)

Condition

Both panels are in good overall condition with small concentrated areas of age cracks to the back.
