inspired by a bamboo prototype, with a square demountable top with rounded edges concealing a double-sided removable weiqi board and two square game piece cups, above three rectangular pierced panels fronting the apron on each side, each of the center panels disguising a drawer, all supported by thick double-molded legs simulating bamboo rods with rounded spandrels at each corner, with small mahogany box and assorted games

Condition

The game board is possibly of later date. Minor chips to beaded edges, the top with a 4 x 6 inch burn near the edge of the center panel, a rectangular filled mortise on the edge measuring 3 x 3/4 inches. A patched knot hole on the edge approximately 1 x 2 inches. There are several 4 to 6 inch splits on top member, one with small plug filling a hole. One drawer with a split at the end. Drawers sliding unevenly to interior. Overall good condition.
