Description

of massive rectangular form, supported on a tall shaped base carved to the front with two confronting archaistic dragons each grasping sprigs of lingzhi in their paws, the chest mounted with a circular lockplate set flush against the wood, with a cloud-form hasp and a pair of side bail handles (2)

Condition

The removable base with gaps at dovetail joins on each corner and some splitting. The one long side of the base missing central part of apron; requires regluing and polishing. The chest with gaps at edges, with a scratched and dry surface; requires polishing.
