Description
carved to simulate bamboo construction with double-cushion molding along the outer edge of the top frame, secured by linked-ring struts to the cushion-molded straight apron and straight stretchers, which wrap around the four circular legs at the corners

Sotheby's New York, 26th September 1986, lot 534.
Condition
The surface has been stripped off and is sun faded. A few of the double-ring struts have been replaced. The feet have some minor wear. The overall structure is very good and appears to be original. The surface will need to be polished.
