Description

each of black lacquer with well-balanced inlay work of mother-of-pearl and various soft stones, the two doors depicting a scene of ladies at various leisurely pursuits within a garden pavilion, framed by a border of repeated cartouches enclosing qilong and against a floret-diaper ground, the sides each with a circular and square panel framing blooming branches with birds and butterflies, rising from four squared feet with a straight apron (2)

Condition

The top of one chair with flaking lacquer, both with all over craquelure, and both with numerous chips to edges.
