Description

of characteristic broad double-gourd form with compressed globular lower lobe and onion-shapd upper lobe, covered overall with a pale celadon glaze leaving the mouthrim in white and the counter-sunk concave base with an apocryphal Qianlong minyao sealmark in underglaze-blue

Condition

The vase is in good overall condition and the glaze is very even. There is an area of glaze pull at the bottom near the base which circles 3/4 of the way around the vase. A very minor potting flaw on the rim has left a negligible dent.
