Description

the deep U-shaped body encircled by four large roundels enclosing flowering sprays of peonies, peaches, nandina berries, pomegranates, or lillies, divided by lotus strapwork and reserved on a pale yellow ground, all below a band of overlapping ruyi-heads just below the gilt rim, the countersunk base inscribed with a six-character seal mark in underglaze-blue

Condition

There is wear to the gilding at the rim, which also exhibits some small burst air bubbles. The colors are not as deep as the catalogue image suggests, particularly the red and green hues.
