Description
the rounded sides enamelled green with continuous peaches issuing upright from the stem, below a floret diaper band at the rim and ruyi-head lappets at the bottom, the interior well with a ferocious five-clawed dragon, all supported by a slightly tapered foot, Kangxi mark at the base; together with a shallow yellow dish, Jiajing mark at the base (2)
Condition
The yellow and green-glazed Kangxi bowl is in good overall condition. The interior of the mouthrim exhibiting thicker yellow glaze around most of the perimeter, with a 1/2 inch hairline glaze crack at the rim.
The shallow Jiajing dish in good overall condition. The rim is very slightly warped and has minor pinholes and pinpricks, along with hairline glaze cracks.
