Description

of baluster form, painted overall in underglaze-blue with flowering sprays of prunus reserved on a blue 'cracked ice' ground, between a dentil border around the foot and just below a ruyi-head collar encircling the neck, the domed cover with bud knop similarly painted (2)

Condition

The vase with chips to the mouthrim and foot, the largest on the foot 3/4 inch long. The cover with chips to the perimeter, the largest 1/2 inch long. Tiny iron spots at the cover. All in otherwise good condition.
