Description

of shallow rounded form rising to a slightly everted rim, the interior with peaches and finger citrons borne on leafy branches, painted in vibrant tones of underglaze-blue, the exterior encircled by three detached peach sprays

Condition

The rim with minor areas of fritting and one chip 3/8 inch across and taking out 1/8 inch of the everted rim (shown at 2 o'clock in the catalogue image), with a glaze crack 2 inch stemming from the chip. A small chip, mostly to the glaze 5/8 inches wide at 7 o'clock. The interior with some burst air bubbles and minor kiln grit. The exterior with scattered air bubbles, and one area of kiln fault towards the base. In overall good condition.
