Description

of compressed globular form, modelled with a raised flange above each of the three short splayed feet, the short neck surmounted by a flattened everted rim, applied overall with an olive-brown glaze suffused with a fine network of crackles, stopping short of the tapering feet to reveal the body burnt russet-orange in the firing

Condition

The overall condition is good with some minor wear to body and the outer edge of the rim. There is a 1/2 inch scratch to the glaze on the flattened rim, which is very slightly warped. The color is a little darker than depicted in the catalogue.
