Description

the widely flaring sides divided into six lobes, with indentations along the metal-bound rim corresponding to thin raised lines radiating from the circular inner well, the exterior incised with two thin concentric lines, supported on a short foot and an angled base, plainly decorated overall with a translucent ivory-white glaze, Japanese wood box (2)

Condition

This bowl is delicately potted and in good overall condition. There are pinpricks scattered along the surface. The footrim has one 1/2 inch chip towards the recessed base.
