of pear shape, supported on a flared base decorated with ruyi-heads, the body carved in low-relief with stylized lotus sprays above lappets, the neck rising to an everted rim with downturned leaf motif, flanked by abstracted qilong handles, the domed cover cut flat at the top, surmounted by a lotus bud knop, with ruyi-heads at the rim, the translucent stone of even tone with white inclusions and dark-green speckles (2)

There are a few natural veins along the edge of the cover. The body is covered in faint white and dark green spots throughout. The color of the vase is more celadon in tone than the catalogue suggests. Overall the vase and cover are in good condition.
