Description

the vessel of square section, carved in low-relief with a central shou medallion enclosed on each side by a pair of bats with outstretched wings, all between keyfret borders and above the short splayed foot of conforming section, the stone of pale celadon tone with faint white inclusions

Condition

There are slight chips to the top edge and the foot of the washer. The washer is slightly darker than in the catalogue image. Overall it is in good condition.
