Description

the round flattened body rising from a short flared foot, the waisted neck with a slight concave recess, flanked by two loose-ring handles suspending from beast heads, the rectangular mouth with squared rim, the cover with canted roofed sides, finished with a rectangular knop, the light green stone with white inclusions, Japanese wood box (3)

Condition

There are some minor nicks to the rim of the vase and along the rim of the cover. There are also miniscule nicks to the beast handles and the finial on the cover. It is in otherwise good condition. The color on the catalogue image is slightly darker than on the vase, especially to the lower section.
