Description

of flattened circular form, the cover carved with an image of Shoulao enclosed within a medallion over the character chun ('Spring'), flanked by beribboned ruyi scepters and above red, black and ochre lines radiating from a lobed bowl full of 'precious objects', all against a keyfret ground and enclosed within a diaper border, further carved around the sides with scrolling peonies, the base lacquered black (2)

Condition

This is in good overall condition with one 3/8 inch chip to the edge of the base. The interior with small cracks and one retouched area.
