Description

of peach form, decorated in the round, enamelled with three peaches amidst leaves, all against a turquoise ground, with a gilt-bronze bat on a bough, the interior gilded (2)

Condition

There are a few areas of restoration where the enamel loss has been filled, especially around the edge of the box and the red tip of the peach. Most of the gilding of the cloisonn remains intact. The actual color of the box is 10% darker than the image in the catalogue. The overall condition of the piece is good.
