the U-shaped box and flattened domed cover enamelled overall with lotus blossoms borne on scrolling foliate stems, all against a turquoise ground and between a band of ruyi-heads encircling the rims (2)
Condition
There is loss of enamel throughout this piece; some has been restored with wax fills but most has been left unfilled. Most of the gilding of the cloisonn wires has been rubbed off. The overall condition of this piece is fair.
