Description

each surmounted by a shallow dish of oval section, the sides curving to a broadly flaring rim splayed over the sharply waisted mid-section and tall spreading foot, enamelled to the interior with a constellation medallion centered on a ground of swirling waves engulfing various sea fauna and vegetation, the exterior with butterflies in flight amidst intertwining floral sprays and double-gourd vines on a turquoise ground, all between a pair of gilt-bronze five-clawed dragons clutching the sides and rim forming the handles (4)

Condition

Two of the tazzas have a minor dent along the rim with minor enamel loss. The base plate of one of them is missing. The other three have base plates impressed with the characters 'De Cheng'. The whiskers are movable. The gilding and cloisons are intact and overall in very good condition.
