Provenance
Purchased at San Simeon William Randolf Hearst Auction in the 1960's.
Condition
Inspected in the frame. The painting in good condition with scattered areas of vertical tears to the silk, some of the loss in the gold background filled in with color. One area to the kneeling woman at the foreground wearing green, her sleeve with a vertical tear and restored with filled in color (visible in the catalogue image). The details of the faces and clothing still intact.
