Description
of classic cuboid form, the pair of doors set on baitong metal hinges, accented in the center with a circular lock plate and a finely decorated metal lock pin in the form of a shrimp, set with vase-shaped door-pulls, the interior comprising seven drawers with similar pulls, with loop handles attached to chrysanthemum-engraved escutcheons on the sides, rectangular base

Condition
The chest is attractively polished and in good condition. The rear part of the top panel with old replaced 1 1/4 inch wide section. One side with similar replaced section. The left side of the top with an irregular bleached section contrasting light against the dark surface, measuring approximately 5 by 3 inches. The lower part of the right side panel with narrow 5 inch minor split rising from the base. The right lower corner of rear panel with 4 inch diagonal minor split through a knot burl.
