comprising: two round tixi boxes with lids, one red, the other black, each with pommel scroll pattern; two tixi bowls, each deeply carved in pommel scroll pattern on the exterior through alternate layers of red and black, one with ruyi-heads above the foot, each interior and base lined with silver, the smaller inscribed ji yu xi to the base, stands; and one xipi bowl, the exterior decorated with marbleized lacquer of red, orange, and black, of octagonal shape, the interior lacquered black, rising from eight short bracket feet, wood box (10)

Condition

Small red lacquer box: The interior has been relacquered and there has been some retouching to the cinnabar. Small black box: Thin cracks resulting from a tiny chip to the box. The interior with residue of red ink. Octagonal bowl: There are expected cracks and some flaking at the bottom. Large cup: Silver with tiny dents at the rim. The footring with one-third of the silver lining missing. Small crack at the lacquer rim. Small cup: A shallow 1/4 inch of lacquered foot ring appears to have been pared off. Tiny cracks to the lacquer. All in good overall condition.
