of ovoid form with robust shoulders tapering sharply at the foot lined with a thin band of lotus scrolls, the body masterly incised with a lush display of lotus sprays and four phoenix birds, the shoulder with a lotus scroll collar above a concentric ring, the bell-shaped cover with two registers of ruyi-head and lotus scroll bands below the dome of incised lotus petals, all surmounted by a bud-shaped knop, the bottom inscribed meiming (2)

There are repairs to the neck and top of the shoulder with significant evidence of restoration. There are two dents on the shoulder and one to the body. The base is slightly uneven. The cover is likely later.
