Description

carved in the round with the 'Hehe' twins supported on a large rockwork base, one slightly squatting while holding a tall facetted vase in his arms, the other standing on a raised ledge carrying a lotus bud in one hand, both boys dressed in long robes tied loosely below their plump bellies, their chubby faces smiling in amusement between pendulous earlobes and finely combed hair

Condition

The gilding remains in good condition, with some minor touch-ups, and there are traces of red pigment to the robes. The right foot belonging to the figure on the right was broken across the center and restuck. Some minor loss to the black paint at the hair.
