Description
the cylindrical body rising from a short spreading foot to a tall cylindrical neck with everted rolled rim, finely and brightly enamelled around the exterior with a continuous equestrian battle scene from the Sanguo zhi yanyi (Romance of the Three Kingdoms), all between blue enamel ruyi, stiff leaf and pendant jewel bands, the base with Shen de Tang Zhi seal mark
Condition
The vase is in very good condition with the exception of minor glaze scratches and a tiny flake to the blue enamel around the footring.
