Description

painted in underglaze-blue to each side with a pair of bats in flight amid a leafy sprig bearing five peaches within a raised peach-shaped panel, the neck decorated with a similar lotus band beneath upright ruyi head lappets and a band of lingzhi fungus at the rim, flanked by a pair of ruyi handles, all reserved against a yellow ground

Condition

Underside to one handle with a short firing crack, approx 1cm. Two small scale chips to the foot, approx 5mm and 3mm. Scale chip to the edge of the body, approx 3.5mm. Minor scratching and burst air bubbles. Otherwise generally in good condition.
